Our Story


Welcome to Park House Farm, our family run beef suckler farm that is excited to announce our new venture - a pie shop!

James, Laura and family, moved to Park House in August 2022, having come from an uphill sheep farm on the Kintyre penisula. Prior to this we were the 4th and final generation of a tenancy on a Lincolnshire arable farm with a small closed herd of Lincoln Red cattle.

 

Our aim is to produce a meaty variety of well filled, satisfying pies including our own beef.

 

Because grass-fed native cattle can take 20-30 months to reach their prime weight , we will be using other local beef to fill  the gap and get us started to launch our exciting new enterprise.

Our shop in Robin Hood's Bay that dates back to 1830, was a butchers shop for a long time before becoming a Cobblers Shop by which it is still known as today.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

From here we will be selling our pies and other produce, and can not wait to welcome you all.
